Drawing on the latest technological advances in naval architecture and design, the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 519 embodies all the aspects a Jeanneau owner desires and has come to expect. Designed by Philippe Briand, the Sun Odyssey 519 combines timeless design, exceptional seaworthiness and unmatched comfort. The high-aspect ratio sail plan allows for a large selection of sails for you to choose from. Performance or cruising with the family, the rig can be adapted to a variety of different types of sailing.

Wide steps lead below where you’ll be immediately impressed by the space and light that reigns supreme onboard the Sun Odyssey 519. The interior also designed, by Philippe Briand and his team, is centred around solid wood, matte varnish, light colours and indirect lighting. Every detail of the Sun Odyssey 519 has been studied to bring together the functional and the aesthetic. The result: smooth lines and a sense of well-being and comfort.

Manoeuvring a yacht of over 12 metres in harbour is stressful for many skippers and their crews, whether family or not. That’s why Jeanneau have taken away the stress and developed 360 Docking, available on the Sun Odyssey 519. Even with a bow thruster, the bulk, the inertia and the sensitivity to windage and tides of these boats makes their handling difficult in the often small and congested ports of the European coasts. These problems can spoil the enjoyment of a lovely sailing trip, as well as put you off the acquisition of a larger model, this no longer needs to be a factor and couldn’t be simpler to control.
